Safe Kids Guilford County, based at Moses Cone Hospital, is hosting a Spring Into Summer Safety Fair on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Find us at Moses Cone Hospital on Tankersley Dr. between Church St. and Elm St.
Why it matters:
Unfortunately, children are more likely to be severely injured in summer than any other season. That's why it is important that kids learn how to be safe around pools and ponds, how to stay safe when riding a bicycle and know what to do in a house fire. Parents can also benefit from refreshers on safe sleep and choosing and using car seats for the smaller children.

- Safety Demos: Learn essential safety tips and techniques from experts.
- Bike Rodeo: Test your skills on our fun obstacle course.
- Games and Prizes: Enjoy interactive games and win exciting prizes.
- Community Interaction: Children and adults alike will have the opportunity to engage with local safety agencies, including the fire department, emergency medical services and police department.
- Bikes and helmets are provided and admission is free.
