🏠 Safe@Home – A Safety Class for Youth (Ages 8–11)
Presented by Safety Side Up A program by Safe Sitter® Inc.

✅ What Is Safe@Home?
Safe@Home is a fun, engaging program designed to teach youth how to stay safe when they are home alone. It helps students develop independence while emphasizing safety, responsibility, and emergency preparedness.
🧠 Students Will Learn:
- How to handle common household emergencies
- Basic first aid and injury prevention
- How to stay safe online and in the neighborhood
- When and how to call 911 or contact a parent/guardian
- Tips for handling situations such as strangers at the door or unexpected visitors
👥 Who Should Attend:
- Youth ages 8 to 11 years old
- Students preparing for increased independence
- Kids interested in staying home alone safely or preparing to start babysitting in the future
🎒 What’s Included:
- Instructor-led class with discussion and activities
- Safe@Home student booklet
- Parents attend the last 10 minutes of class for Q&A
- Certificate of Completion

- A positive attitude
