Safe@Home is a fun, engaging program designed to teach youth how to stay safe when they are home alone. It helps students develop independence while emphasizing safety, responsibility, and emergency preparedness.

• How to handle common household emergencies
• Basic first aid and injury prevention
• How to stay safe online and in the neighborhood
• When and how to call 911 or contact a parent/guardian
• Tips for handling situations such as strangers at the door or unexpected visitors

• Youth ages 8 to 11 years old
• Students preparing for increased independence
• Kids interested in staying home alone safely or preparing to start babysitting in the future

• Instructor-led class with discussion and activities
• Safe@Home student booklet
• Parents attend the last 10 minutes of class for Q&A
• Certificate of Completion

• Water bottle
• A positive attitude
• (Optional) Nut-free snack if desired
