Safe Harvest was established by Hood College students more than 30 years ago to provide Frederick-area children and their parents with the opportunity to trick-or-treat in a safe environment on Hood College's campus.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Whitaker Campus Center, Safe Harvest will provide games, arts and crafts, activities and other entertainment. Event participants are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes. Children aged 12 and under and their parents will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat throughout Hood’s campus.
Parents or guardians are required to accompany their children throughout the evening.
