Safe Canarsie | Basketball Tournament & Rally

Join us for a 3-day event focused on youth basketball, wellness workshops, and building community connections. This event aims to inspire youth and families while addressing issues like mental health, youth violence, and community healing.

Friday will start with a rally featuring keynote speakers, including possible appearances by local influencers or community leaders. Workshops will follow, focusing on mental health, stress management, and healing. Community organizations will have resource tables available, and there will be a DJ, light refreshments, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Saturday will include basketball games for the younger age division (11–15). Between games, there will be mini-workshops, resource tables, and activities like art therapy and mentoring sessions. The day will also feature semi-final games and community-building activities.

Sunday will feature championship games for both age divisions, halftime entertainment, and a group healing activity. The day will end with an awards ceremony recognizing teams, coaches, and community members for their participation and contributions, followed by closing remarks.

Important: All attendees must bring valid ID to enter the venue. Space is limited, so plan to arrive early.
