Safe & Secure Ganesh Mandal Awards 2026
Safe & Secure Ganesh Mandal Awards 2026
Ganeshotsav is one of Pune’s most iconic community celebrations, bringing together millions of devotees and hundreds of Ganesh Mandals across Pune City and Pimpri-Chinchwad over 10–11 days. Beyond its cultural significance, the festival creates large public gatherings where fire safety, electrical safety, crowd management, security and emergency preparedness become critical.
Recognising this need, FSAI Pune Chapter, in partnership with Pune Police, PCMC Police, PMC & PCMC Fire Brigades, PMC and PCMC, is organising the Safe & Secure Ganesh Mandal Awards 2026 with the theme:
“A Safe Ganeshotsav – The Collective Responsibility of Every Devotee.”
The objective of the initiative is to recognise and reward Ganesh Mandals that demonstrate exemplary practices in fire safety, electrical safety, public life safety, security and crowd management, while encouraging mandals across the city to continuously raise their safety standards.
