SAFe Agile Product Management

In SAFe®, product managers play a key role in the trio of leaders that includes architects and the Release Train Engineer. All of these people work together to lead the Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in continuously delivering value.

In the Agile Product Management course, you’ll explore how to use design thinking to put your customers at the center and create products that are desirable, feasible, and sustainable. You’ll discover how continuous exploration fuels innovation. You’ll get the guidance and tools you need to work effectively in remote environments with distributed teams. And you’ll explore how to define a vision, strategy, and roadmap to satisfy existing customers and attract new ones.

Agile Product Management answers the questions:

• How do I prepare a product strategy, vision, and roadmap for my ART?

• What are the right mindsets, skills, and tools to create successful products?

Attendees learn:

• How to create innovation in the value stream.

• How to use design thinking to achieve desirable, feasible, and sustainable products.

• How to use product strategy to set clarity and direction for the ART.

• How to develop and evolve short-term roadmaps that result in long-term value.

These skills and knowledge are highly recommended to successfully pass the exam:

• Familiarity with Agile principles and practices

• Attended at least one SAFe course

• Background in Product or Solution Management

• Experience being a Product Manager, Product Marketer, Product Owner, Business Owner, or bringing products to market

Becoming a Certified SAFe® Agile Product Manager requires an exceptional range of skills. Certification includes:

Additional Information:

• TEKsystems strictly prohibits the use of audio or video recording devices during training sessions.

• Pricing includes all instructor time, class materials as well as certification exam. Courseware will be provided in hard copy/e-copy format and made available X (ex. Upon arrival in class) timeframe via Y (ex. Via vendor portal/TEK FTP/etc.) tool.

• TEKsystems Global Services, LLC retains intellectual property rights of all materials developed by TEKsystems Global Services, LLC

• Neither party shall be liable for any delay in nonperformance in whole of its obligations under this Agreement or SOW if prevented from doing so by a cause or causes beyond its control, including, without limitation, acts of God or public enemy, fire, floods, storms, earthquakes, riots, strikes, war, and restraints of government. The suspension of performance shall be of no greater scope and no longer duration than is reasonably required and the non-performing party shall use reasonable efforts to remedy its inability to perform.

• TEKsystems Global Services, LLC warrants that (i) the Services will be performed consistent with generally accepted industry standards, (ii) the Work Product of the TEKsystems Global Services, LLC and the Services will constitute original work of TEKsystems Global Services, LLC, and will not knowingly infringe any copyright, trade secret, contract or other intellectual property, proprietary or personal rights of any person, and will be free of any liens, encumbrances or other claims.

• IN NO EVENT SHALL TEKSYSTEMS GLOBAL SERVICES, LLC AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF ANY KIND OF CLAIM (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE), UNDER THIS AGREEMENT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY Z TO TEKSYSTEMS GLOBAL SERVICES, LLC UNDER THIS STATEMENT OF WORK.

Cancellation Policy

• TEKsystems enforces fees if enrollment is cancelled within 10 business days of the first day of class. TEKsystems must receive written notification of class cancellation.

• Students who do not notify TEKsystems by 4pm EST at least 11 full business days before the class start date incur a charge of 100% of the total cost of the course.

• TEKsystems may cancel any Course on behalf of our instructors in the event that performance of Service or any Workshop under this Agreement is prevented, restricted, delayed or interfered with by reason of acts of Force Majeure, floods, lightning, earthquakes, war, revolution, civil commotion, acts of public enemies, blockade, embargo, which are not caused by TEKsystems.

TEKsystems may reschedule courses as necessary.
