Sad Hands is an alt-country three-piece band based in the headwaters area of the Arkansas River, in Salida, Colorado. Performing both original music and inspired covers.
Bill Kelly is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. He has released five albums and earned numerous sideman credits while developing a distinctive voice that blends venturesome storytelling with echoes of John Prine, Squeeze, and Lyle Lovett. His distinctive, emotionally honest singing has drawn comparisons to Tom Petty and Townes Van Zandt. Larry Campbell captured it perfectly: “Bill Kelly has the voice and pen of a true artist with a great sense of melody.”
