About this Event
Sacred Waters: Lake Cleansing Ceremony for Black Women
Immerse yourself in the tranquil and transformative experience of the Sacred Waters: Lake Cleansing Ceremony. This sacred event is an opportunity for Black women to reconnect with their ancestral roots, purify their spirits, and renew their energy in the serene embrace of nature. The ceremony is led by Multidimensional Energy Healer, Ashley, who is dedicated to creating a space of healing, reflection, and empowerment.
What to Expect:
- Ancestral Reconnection: Through guided meditation, we will call upon our ancestors, inviting their wisdom, guidance, and blessings into our ceremony.
- Lake Cleansing Ritual: We will engage in a profound lake cleansing ritual, using the water as an act of purification that washes away negative energies, emotional blockages, and spiritual burdens.
- Ancestral Offering: We will make offerings to the lake and our ancestors as gestures of gratitude and reverence. These offerings may include flowers, herbs, or other natural elements that hold personal significance. Please refrain from offering food.
- Reflection and Sharing: We will gather for a time of reflection and sharing after the ceremony to express our experiences, insights, and feelings in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
What to Bring:
- Wear comfortable white clothing to represent purification and renewal
- A towel and change of clothes
- Yoga mat/blanket for meditation
- An offering for the lake (flowers, herbs, natural elements - excluding food)
- A journal for reflection
- Water and snacks
Join us and allow the healing power of the lake and the wisdom of your ancestors to guide you toward a state of renewal and inner peace. We look forward to sharing this sacred journey with you.

The location address is 15200 Soldier Rd, Charlotte, NC 28278, at Copperhead Island. Upon arrival, make the very first right into the OVERFLOW PARKING LOT. After parking, walk straight ahead onto the trail. While the gate may appear closed, it is open to the public. Follow the path straight to find us.
We will be at the baby beach, which you can't miss by walking straight ahead on the path and turning into the first opening on your right. This area often has ducks at play so we will not fully immerse ourselves in the water.
