Our heart-centered singing circle will come together to honor the auspicious moment of the returning Light and celebrate with song and ceremony during this season's Winter Solstice.
Join Romi (harmonium, guitar), Roxanne (harmonium), Angel (djembe) and Jeremiah (manjīrā) in the practice of singing from the heart, also known as Kīrtan practice of Bhakti Yoga tradition; engaging in soulful chanting of Sanskrit Mantras with the intention turned toward the ever-present Light within. The practice will end with a special ceremony to mark this transformative moment in the seasonal cycle.
No prior Sanskrit mantra or singing experience required. In Kīrtan no one cares how your voice sounds like, it is not a performance but a journey into the self.
You can clap, get up and dance, hum quietly for yourself, or out loud, whatever resonates.

We will have few percussion instruments to share, but feel free to bring your own to join us playing.
