Opera Idaho artists Katia Hayati, soprano and Betsi Hodges, piano perform exciting chamber songs exploring the themes of everyday mythical monsters. The program includes the world premiere of a song cycle commissioned and co-authored by Katia.

"Scène d'Andromaque" by Pauline Viardot
Les Sept ivresses by Augusta Holmès
The Mother/The Witch (world premiere) by Felix Jarrar with libretto by Rachel Marie Patterson and Katia Hayati
The event will feature projected translations and captions for all songs. A reception will follow the show.
