An immersive day of trees, Earth energy, ley lines & dowsing
There is something about standing beside an old tree.
If you slow down enough, you can begin to notice that it doesn’t feel like simply standing beside another living thing.
Trees hold presence.
They have stood through seasons, weather, generations and change. Their roots reach deep into the land, while their branches reach upwards into the sky.
What happens when we stop simply looking at a tree and start to really connect with it?
Join us for an immersive day exploring the energy of the land, the trees and the ancient landscape around Dunfermline.
We’ll begin at Belinus Lodge, discovering the Belinus line that runs through the land and spending time with one of the beautiful trees here.
We’ll learn to use pendulums and dowsing rods to explore the energy around us, but we’ll also put the tools down and simply spend time with the trees… noticing what we feel, what we sense and how different trees and places affect us.
We’ll explore the presence and spirit of the trees, learning to tune into them in our own way and discovering what happens when we become quiet enough to listen.
From Belinus Lodge, we’ll make our way into Pittencrieff Park, continuing our exploration of the energy lines around Dunfermline Abbey and some of the remarkable landmark trees within the park.
There will be plenty of opportunity to dowse, experiment, ask questions and discover your own way of connecting with the land.
This isn’t about being told what you should feel.
It’s about learning to notice.
To trust your curiosity.
To become more aware of the living landscape around you.
And perhaps to discover that you can sense far more than you realised.
We’ll return to Belinus Lodge for a warming, nourishing lunch around the fire, sharing stories and experiences before bringing our day to a close.

What’s included
Guided exploration — Learn about dowsing, Earth energy, ley lines and ways of connecting with trees and the land.
Take-home materials — Your own dowsing charts and reference boards to continue exploring at home.
Equipment — Dowsing rods and pendulums provided for use throughout the day.
Lunch around the fire! A warming homemade vegetarian soup with fresh bread (gluten-free available), followed by homemade cake, tea and coffee.

We’ll be outdoors for part of the day, so please dress warmly and bring waterproof layers for the Scottish weather. Comfortable footwear is recommended.
No previous experience needed.
