The word yoga means “union” or “connection”. For many of us, in our solitary practice, yoga is a constant and loving companion, integrating the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of ourselves and balancing the male and female energies within us. As it illuminates our personal lives, it has the potential to do the same in our most intimate relationships. But practicing yoga and meditation does not guarantee a great relationship or a healthy sensual, sexual and loving experience. How do we make this journey of sacredness a more conscious and fulfilling part of our loving relationships?
In this workshop we will explore some of our assumptions and potential barriers that may arise; we will journey through the Chakras and enjoy the movement of the kundalini energy from a place of foundation and trust to one of surrender and freedom.
We will incorporate pranayama, dance and meditation as well as explore some contact yoga and Venus Kriyas in a safe and held space.
All welcome – singles, partners and yogis and yoginis of all sexual orientations.
