WHAT IS THE The Sacred Fool Werkshop you ask? It’s heavy on super fun, wild, authentic MOVEMENT - absurdity and your imagination! NO DANCE TRAINING REQUIRED just BRAVERY
Movement, Improvisation, Imagination, clowning, discovery, total psychedelia without the drugs
Sacred Fool Werkshop also heavily incorporates intention and ritual throughout the class in your movement so you have an opportunity through the dance to create as well as leave behind what you don’t need and bring in the new!
It’s self empowering and also designed to inspire and ignite your creativity!!! We will all play the fool… TOGETHER!!!
Great for artists, wanna be artists, dentists, grandmas, plumbers and assassins.
My intention for this workshop is to inspire. To inspire people to break out of their shell - to become more spontaneous - to help performers bump up their stage presence - to rediscover the absolute miracle that is their body - to leave the planet for 2 hours - to rediscover what it's like to be a kid and PLAY - to be reminded that we're always standing with one foot in each world - to joyfully discover along the sacred path of the fool

Hi! My name is Chris Carlone. I have been performing in many capacities non stop since 1987 (37 years OMG!)
I am a musician, an actor, a movement artist, and performance artist who has done all of these things living in Tucson, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Philadelphia. I've been a wild man singer in about 72 bands you've probably never heard of, currently singing in Tucson punk band MANSLAW, been in a dozen stage plays from Shakespeare to experimental theartre, I've danced and performed with Butoh company RenGyoSoh directed by Yokko in 2 productions of SHINKA, have created and performed many movement / performance art pieces in NYC most notably "Yew Are Here" performed at Socrates Sculpture Park in Queens Ny for 2019 Queens Green Day, studied for 5 years with Butoh master Vangeline and am the creator of the critically acclaimed 2 time nominated Best Experimental Performance Project for the SF Weekly - BORTS MINORTS
