Join us for a heart-opening journey hosted by Ceremonialist, Christina Hladnik and Ecstatic Dance Facilitator, Zig Tahir!Join us in a sacred, non-judgmental space for a healing ecstatic dance journey. You are invited to move freely to dynamic rhythms, connecting mind, body, and spirit. Our journey will begin with a heart opening Cacao Ceremony, an embodiment exercise to center the group, and then gently lead to our ecstatic dance journey. The music will flow in waves with intentional lows and highs, allowing you to surrender to the moment, allowing your bodies to express emotions, release tension, and access deeper layers of joy and healing. We will foster a sense of connection to ourselves, each other as well as the universal energy. The music will consist of tribal, ambient, electronic and organic beats.
Our theme will be LOVE of self, others, and the sacred elements of the Earth which support us. With the beautiful support of Ceremonial Cacao, a heart-opening & sacred plant medicine, we will embark on a journey within, to connect to our heart spaces through Ecstatic Dance.

Rules of Ecstatic Dance
✨ No drugs, alcohol. This is a sober, family friendly event
✨No talking, all though nonverbal communication and expression is encouraged
✨Consent required for dancing with another person
✨No shoes (you may wear non socks if you feel uncomfortable barefoot)
✨No phones, photos or videos
Please note the following tips for a more comfortable experience:
🌟We will be sitting on the floor for portion of our activity, and you want to bring a yoga mat, a pillow, blanket or anything else you feel you will need for comfort.
🌟Please make sure to bring water for yourself to consume throughput the evening
🌟Please dress comfortably; we suggest layers that can easily be removed or added.
🌟We suggest eating a light meal a few hours before event and not coming with a full tummy
🌟After consuming cacao, we suggest grounding foods, such as rice, beans, meats, cheeses or potatoes, when you get home.
*You are not required to consume ceremonial cacao in order to participate in this event
Flow of the Evening:
🍃 Using ceremonial grade cacao, we will begin the evening with a sacred cacao ceremony, led by Ceremonialist, Christina. This beautiful plant medicine will assists you in connecting with your heart space and the magic of embodying your sacred container. Ceremonial Cacao is known for its heart healing properties and ability to guide your heart to a place of love and acceptance for yourself and others.
💫Zig will lead you in an embodiment exercise to ground more fully into your hearts and bodies. This sacred practice will assist you in being more present within yourself as we move into our Ecstatic Dance Journey. He will use techniques that assist you in connecting not only to yourself, but to Mother Earth and the heart of Nature.
🎼 Our Ecstatic Dance Journey will begin as Zig weaves together beautiful frequencies, tunes, beats, and rhythms that will guide you on a journey within. You will be able to move freely and authentically in a sacred and safe space that honors YOUR unique heart. Experience the joy of being fully present within your body and connecting with your heart, the heart of others, and the heart of Mother Earth.
💞 Christina will then lead an integration practice to "bridge" you between the sacred ceremonial space and the "real world" before you leave. You will have time to honor the shifts in energy, the inner knowings that came to you, or the deep healing work that may have occurred, as you allowed yourself to fully embody your heart space, your authenticity, and your connection to Mother Earth. This will allow time for you to share about your experience, within a safe container and honor your individual experience. This time will support you in integrating these practices into your daily life.
☮️ We will close our sacred ceremony together as a community to honor what was experienced and to honor yourself and the time and love you poured into yourself.

Meet Your Hosts:
Christina Hladnik
Christina Hladnik is an Intuitive Artist, Reconnective Healing Practitioner, Inner Child Healing Specialist, Certified Cacao Ceremonialist, Co-Owner of Inner Haven and Self-Love Coach. Christina began her awakening and healing journey in 2009 and has leaned into shadow work since then in order to embody more light to share with her community. On her journey, Christina discovered the powerful healing energy of ecstatic dance and somatic movement in order to release old traumas and all that which no longer served her. She is passionate about reminding others of their own innate magnificence and strives to guide others on how to reconnect to their inner child, where she believes our true joy lies. Through her raw vulnerability, creativity, and in sharing of her own personal healing journey, she has inspired millions worldwide on her social media platforms. Christina is on a mission to remind YOU of YOUR magnificence and joy.
Zig Tahir
Zig is an artist, dancer, and spiritual seeker with a passion for exploration and connection. His journey into dance began with ballroom and Latin styles in 2021, but his awakening to a spiritual path six years ago profoundly shaped his life. Inspired by nature, Native American culture, art, and the soulful sounds of drumming and flute music, Zig’s love of learning and new experiences continually fuels his path. In December 2023, his spirit guided him to Ecstatic Dance, which quickly became a transformative and healing force in his life. Deeply connected to the conscious dance community in the Chicagoland area, Zig’s mission is to share the powerful healing energy of Ecstatic Dance with the northern Chicago suburbs. Now hosting his first dance with Inner Haven, Zig has collaborated with dynamic, experienced DJs to craft an inspiring playlist that invites participants to move, heal, and connect in a sacred space of joy and freedom.
