The Venue – Wind Spirit Community
Wind Spirit Community is a flourishing ecovillage nestled in the serene dripping springs valley, surrounded by majestic mountain ranges. Founded over 30 years ago, this intentional community thrives on its dedication to sustainable living and holistic well-being. With a lush food forest and a commitment to organic farming and permaculture, Wind Spirit offers a unique environment where residents live in harmony with nature.
As a center for personal growth and collective harmony, Wind Spirit embraces the journey towards a utopian ideal with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities for growth along the way. The community fosters open communication and mutual respect through its Co-Creators Agreements, promoting a culture of inclusivity and shared values. Whether engaging in gardening, building projects, or participating in retreats, residents and visitors contribute to a nurturing and dynamic environment that supports both individual and communal well-being.

Volunteer Hours: To foster an atmosphere of inclusion and sacred service we will be asking that all attendees sign up for 2 hours of volunteering during the event. You may opt out if you like but we do ask for your help in creating an amazing space for all to enjoy.
Phone-Free Gathering: To maintain the sacred space, we request all phones be kept off or on airplane mode. Some exceptions for pictures are ok, but we would like to keep the gathering mostly in the present moment.
Electrosmog & Fragrance-Free: Wind Spirit is a safe space for several individuals with severe EMF and chemical sensitivity, as well as an abundance of wildlife. Please avoid using any artificial or strong fragrances, including incense (moderate sage and palo santo are welcome), and keep your phones off or on airplane mode during the gathering.
Food: We will be providing one meal at the pizza party on Saturday night. Guests are expected to bring the rest of the food that they will need for the weekend. A community kitchen will be available for use. We are encouraging everyone to band together and make communal meals rather than separate meals. If possible bring food and ingredients that are easily shared and combined with others.
Pizza Party: Saturday evening we will be holding a pizza party and will make pizzas for all in our wood-fired cob pizza oven!
Amenities: Compost eco-toilets, showers, pool, sauna and community kitchen will be available to attendees.
Weather: The days should be warm with temps in the 70s. It will feel hot in the sun. Nighttime may be chilly so bring a warm sleeping bag and at least a few blankets.
