What if peace isn’t quiet? In this reflection, we explore the tension between silence and truth, and the role disruption plays in creating a more honest, expansive kind of peace. Rooted in the rhythms of the summer solstice, this message invites us to consider how light and darkness coexist, and what it means to find peace without shrinking our voice.Octavia Farabow (she/her) is a lifelong student of Unity Church, a mother, writer, and speaker, and a student in Unity’s ministerial program. Her work lives at the intersection of Christianity, mysticism, deconstruction, activism, and doubt. With a passion for sacred disruption and Appalachian storytelling, she offers reflections that invite deep listening, radical honesty, and unexpected peace.
