The Sacramento State Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Matthew Morse, present their first concert of the Fall 2022 semester at California State University, Sacramento in Capistrano Concert Hall.
The program includes old and new classics of wind band literature:
• Exultate – Samuel Hazo
• Bagatelles for Band – Vincent Persichetti
• Huapango – Jose Pablo Moncayo arr. Leroy Osmon
• Song for Lyndsay – Andrew Boysen, Jr.
• Fugue a la Gigue – J.S. Bach arr. Gustav Holst
• Blue Lake Overture – John Barnes Chance
• Ancient Flower – Yukiko Nishimura
• Celebration Fanfare – Joan Tower arr. Jack Stamp
• Fanfare - HAYABUSA – Satoshi Yagisawa
Admission: $10 general, $7 senior (60+), $5 student (any school)
Campus COVID protocols: ticket Holder (Attendee), and/or on behalf of any accompanying party, agrees to (1) assume all risks associated with potential exposure to COVID-19; and (2) comply with current health and safety policies of the California State University, Sacramento.
Our current policy is to recommend those over the age of two (2) who attend an indoor event on campus wear a suitable face-covering (mask) while indoors. Attendees are currently NOT REQUIRED to provide proof of vaccination or wear a face-covering.
