Sacramento Science on Tap: Critical Metals

Join me in learning about science in laypeople's terms over drinks on the back patio at New Helvetia Brewing.

ENLIGHTENMENT is partnering with Capital Science Communicators to host Sacramento Science on Tap, a public event on the second Tuesday evening of every month to inspire scientific curiosity and conversation over drinks with your fellow science lovers.

We’re inviting engaging local scientists from the universities, research centers and companies in the area to share their research and results, tell stories, and inform and entertain us.

For October, our guest is Erik Haroldson, professor of geology at Sacramento State, who will talk to us about “critical metals,” and how he contributes to our search for these elements essential to our economy and national security..
