Looking for salsa dancing in Sacramento? Join Dance On The Edge and Paso Unido on Saturday, August 22 for a full afternoon and evening of salsa workshops, social dancing, and a special performance featuring Los Angeles artists Eder Ivan & Erica Reyna.
Train during a 2-hour footwork and partnerwork workshop, join our specialized Instructor Development Intensive, or come out for a beginner-friendly salsa lesson and Social 67 later that night.
Whether you’re an instructor looking to sharpen your teaching skills, a dancer ready to challenge yourself, or simply looking for a great night of salsa, there is a way to experience the event.
🔥 INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT INTENSIVE
3:00–4:00 PM
A one-hour professional development intensive designed for current instructors, assistant instructors, and experienced dancers interested in teaching.
This session is also part of the growing Paso Unido Instructor Development Pathway — an ongoing program built around hands-on teaching experience, dance development, mentorship, monthly masterclasses and intensives, and practical instructor training.
🔥 2-HOUR SALSA INTENSIVE
4:15–6:15 PM
Train directly with Eder Ivan & Erica Reyna during two hours of salsa focused on:
• Footwork
• Technique
• Movement quality
• Partnerwork
• Connection
• Execution
The workshop is designed to give dancers material they can immediately apply to their social dancing while also challenging them technically.

New to salsa?
Come early for a beginner-friendly lesson before the social.
No partner is required.

After the workshops, stay for a full night of social dancing with Sacramento’s Latin dance community.
The evening will feature a special performance by Eder Ivan & Erica Reyna at approximately 11:00 PM.
