SACRAMENTO Outdoors for All Field Convening
About this Event
Join the California Natural Resources Agency and California Outdoor Recreation Partnership this summer for a Field Convening on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at River Bend Educational Site followed by Camp Pollock.
Together, we'll reflect on our progress with California’s Outdoors for All initiative, share what's working, and explore how we can continue moving our shared priorities forward. As changing financial and federal conditions shape our work, we'll identify opportunities to collaborate, strengthen partnerships, and ensure more Californians can connect with the outdoors.
The insights gained through these field convenings will help shape an update to the five near-term actions identified in the Outdoors for All Strategy and help build a case for the next administration that connections to the outdoors is a critical priority for building a healthier, more connected, and more resilient California.
Before You Register:
- Each Field Convening is limited to 60 participants so we can include as many organizations as possible. We ask that each organization identify one attendee. If other colleagues would like to attend, they are welcome to register online and will be added to the waitlist. If a spot opens, we’ll invite people from the waitlist in the order they registered.
- CNRA and its partners are committed to making the Outdoors for All Field Convenings accessible to all participants. If you require an ADA accommodation or have other accessibility needs to support your participation, please let us know in the Order Form section of this event webpage.
- To allow host partners adequate opportunity to prepare, please consider registering as soon as possible, or within two weeks of the convening you plan to attend.
