SACRAMENTO Outdoors for All Field Convening
About this Event
Join the California Natural Resources Agency and California Outdoor Recreation Partnership this summer for a Field Convening on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at River Bend Educational Site followed by Camp Pollock.
Together, we'll reflect on our progress with California’s Outdoors for All initiative, share what's working, and explore how we can continue moving our shared priorities forward. As changing financial and federal conditions shape our work, we'll identify opportunities to collaborate, strengthen partnerships, and ensure more Californians can connect with the outdoors.
The insights gained through these field convenings will help shape an update to the five near-term actions identified in the Outdoors for All Strategy and help build a case for the next administration that connections to the outdoors is a critical priority for building a healthier, more connected, and more resilient California.
Register today! To allow host partners adequate opportunity to prepare, please consider registering as soon as possible.
Before You Register:
- Travel stipends, supported by the 11th Hour Project, are available for individuals who need assistance with travel costs. Individuals seeking support are being asked to complete the online Travel Stipend Request form. The form requires applicants to provide details such as the distance they traveled, departure address, organizational affiliation, tribal affiliation, which Outdoors for All Field Convening they attended, and any other project-relevant details. The Stipend Coordinator, GreenLatinos, will review and communicate with potential applicants and determine an appropriate stipend amount based on the guidelines, such as distance traveled and the need to support other possible expenses incurred. Once the online form is completed and the applicant's participation in an Outdoors for All Field Convening is verified, the applicant will receive an email notification to input their ACH information. When all the necessary information has been received, the stipend payments will be issued and disseminated to recipients by direct transfer.
- ADA Accomodations: CNRA and its partners are committed to making the Outdoors for All Field Convenings accessible to all participants. If you require an ADA accommodation or have other accessibility needs to support your participation, please let us know in the Order Form section of this event webpage.
