About this Event
Sacramento Black Fae Day's first-ever Mermaid Meetup!
Whether you're a mermaid, siren, sea witch, ocean guardian, or simply enchanted by the sea, this gathering is all about celebrating the wonder of the ocean through community, creativity, and play.
We'll be gathering near Clunie Pool at McKinley Park, where you'll have the chance to mingle with fellow merfolk, enjoy whimsical crafts, relax during a soothing Siren Sound Bath, play magical games, and make unforgettable summer memories.
Discover unique treasures from local artists and small businesses offering handmade creations, fantasy-inspired goods, including oracle readings and other mystical offerings.
Swimming is completely optional. If you'd like to take a dip at Clunie Pool, admission is paid directly to the pool ($5 adults, $3 children). Otherwise, you're welcome to enjoy the gathering on land and soak in the magic.
🧜🏾 Mermaid attire is highly encouraged! Wear your favorite tail, seashells, pearls, flowing fabrics, shimmering accessories, or any ocean-inspired look. Whether you're a glamorous siren or a playful mermaid, come ready to celebrate your inner sea spirit.

Explore folklore, mythology, and stories inspired by Black water goddesses, ocean spirits, and legendary sea beings whose tales continue to inspire fantasy, art, and community today.
