A half day tour to the former Concentration Camp Sachsenhausen, which was one of the first permanent purpose-built camps
About this Event

Sachsenhausen Memorial

We will be using public transport to travel to the town of Oranienburg (c35km). A ticket for the train should be purchased before arrivng at the meeting point
Upon arrival in Oranienburg we will walk the route taken by many of the inmates in the early years of the camp's history (c 25minute walk)
You will be taken on a 2 hour guided tour of the concentraion camp memorial
1 hour free time to explore museums at your own pace.
Arrival back in Berlin should be around 1530
To ensure accessability, tour is on a pay-what-you-like basis. Payment is cash only on the day. Please bear in mind that the Memorial bills Berlin Reguided €3 per participant
