SacFilmChallenge, Music & Film Festival 2024

SacFilmChallenge is the Film Festival to Geek and Nerd Out! Films, music videos, and new media that express the best of things Drama, Comedy, Geeky, Nerdy, Anime, Cosplay, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Comics, and Sports will screen at this 3-Day Hybrid Event.

Connection and Community are a big part of the experience at the festival. Attendees can connect with the filmmakers and industry professionals at the panel discussions. Hang out in the virtual lounge area with each other for interesting conversations about their love for film or their fandom. Network 1:1 and meet a new friend to have a watch party with or make a movie with. Join us September 20 - 22, 2024 in the Virtual Space.

5th Annual SacFilmChallenge - We've added a Film Mixer to celebrate the festival & the filmmakers, a Breakfast Meetup, and in addition to our Filmmaker Panels, we invited our friends working in Hollywood for a Professional Filmmaker Discussion. - Camera & Electrical Department/Instructor, is best known for her work on a number of Marvel films including Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Captain America: Civil War, and many classics that you have enjoyed AND - Director/Producer/Author, is an award-winning independent director and producer living in Los Angeles, California. His most recent work is the feature romantic drama Before the Dawn and the American Society of Cinematographers Motion Imaging Technology Council’s film The Mission, a production backed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Amazon Studios, Disney, Sony, Warner Bros. and more. As a producer and director, Holben has helmed independent feature films, television series, documentaries, short films and commercials.

SacFilmChallenge will screen select films at Futures Explored in Sacramento, CA - 2533 R Street, CA 95816.
