Sac State Planetarium with The Renaissance Society

This FREE program is sponsored by The Renaissance Society of Sac State and is open to the community! Learn more about the fantastic Planetarium on campus while enjoying this program. The Sac State Planetarium is located on the east side of campus, just north of Parking Structure II and the Hornet Bookstore. Meet on the Sac State Campus, in front of the Hornet Bookstore at 12:20. Bring your ticket to help facilitate the check in process.

• There are absolutely no food or drinks allowed in the Planetarium.
• Zooming through the universe on a 360º screen may cause motion sickness, please be advised.

The Renaissance Society of Sacramento provides opportunities for participatory lifelong learning and community engagement for older adults. Our learning opportunities include programs on widely varied subjects, from serious to amusing, proposed and presented by our members.

We have a wide variety of programs, five days a week. For the Fall 2024 semester, programs on Zoom will be offered Mondays through Thursdays. Other programs will be on the Sac State campus on Fridays; some wll be in-person only, while others will be a combination of in-person and Zoom.
