Sabor y Ritmo (English: Flavour and Rhythm) are a brand new Naarm/Melbourne-based Afro-Cuban jazz ensemble, led by Santiago-born Cuban conga player, Rodolfo Hechavarria (Panga).The group, consisting of Panga, Yunior Maden (percussion),Joseph Bonilla (keys) Liam Powell (bass), Luke Koszański (guitar), and Will Larsen (woodwind) traverses a range of Afro-Cuban styles, including Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, and more.
Sabor y Ritmo are quickly gaining a reputation as a must-see Latin Jazz quintet in town, drawing a following of Latin dancers and jazz lovers.
