Sabina Olamina 1. Album Release Party

In addition to the playing music from the album and a couple new songs, there will be performances by Sheena Dahm and Nomi as well as a community open mic where you can tell us about your organizing activities, sing or play us something! I will also be giving informaiton on how to get involved with more of the organizing I am doing in the community around healthcare and immigration. This event will be a part of the Fall of Freedom campaign which is a collective of artists asking for cultural activations between October 2-4 that resist fascism. We need our courage to be contagious and reclaim the artists place as the marketing arm of liberatory struggle. In keeping with the work of artists like Harry Belafonte and Miram Makeba, we call on other artists to dedicate their works to resisting repression and oppression by all authoritarian entities public or private, State or corporate. Let your voice be heard in a chorus for a more equitable future for all living beings.
