Shadow Books - Longest NightAt Grafik i Väst Gallery June 13th-17th!!! Come one, come all to celebrate with a special exhibition, our last of the Season!
A collection of shadow books and prints from the workshop spirits. Workshop spirits, as you know, have to be on your side. When they dance in the right pace magical elements align, new images appear, and the printer can sleep well after a long day’s work. For the exhibition at Grafik i Väst Gallery we have prepared a ghost library with one-of-a-kind artist books and prints, shown alongside our large production of screen printed editions and hand made books. Both sides of the moon whispering to each other.
Longest Night is an artist-run screen printing workshop, gallery and shop in Kortedala, Gothenburg, founded in 2020. We print and publish graphic art in collaboration with the most interesting artists we know. We also organise exhibitions, workshops, residencies and other events where people and images meet.
