🎶 Contemporary Kurdish Music Rooted in Tradition 🎶With a voice that is both powerful and intimate, Ruken brings fresh authenticity to the contemporary Kurdish music scene.
Born in Istanbul and rooted in Eruh (Siirt), she began writing and performing at a young age. After graduating in Music Education from Marmara University, she shaped a distinctive musical style that is instantly recognizable.
By blending deeply rooted Kurdish traditions with subtle modern influences, Ruken creates a sound that feels timeless, personal, and emotionally gripping.
Her debut album Zelî (2016) received wide acclaim for its sincere and refined take on Kurdish folk music. After several singles and growing international attention, she released her second album Sê Çiya (2022), further expanding her artistic journey.
