RYTC Presents Disney's The Aristocats, Kids

The Aristocats KIDS is playing at The Sunset Theatre Thursday, March 3rd at 7 pm, Friday, March 4 at 7 pm, Saturday, March 5 at 7 pm, and Sunday, March 6 at 2 pm. The jazzy 30-minute musical, designed for elementary school-aged performers, is based on the 1970 Disney film. The Randolph Youth Theatre Company cast includes 27 students led by Devan Walsh and Cindy Watson.

This charming, smooth, and adventurous stage adaptation is a celebration of Disney’s exploration into mid-century jazz in Paris. Cat-napped and abandoned miles from home by a dastardly butler with a hidden agenda, Duchess and her kittens, Toulouse, Berlioz, and Marie – the smartest Aristocats in Paris – set off on a journey to reunite with their beloved owner, Madame. With the unlikely help of a jazz-loving group of Alley Cats, will the cats find their way home? Adapted especially for young performers, this musical includes favorite songs such as “Thomas O’Malley Cat,” “The Aristocats,” and “Ev’rybody Wants to Be a Cat.” This production of The Aristocats KIDS is sure to keep your toes (and paws) tapping!
