About this Event

Measuring and Falling with Ryan Yamauchi

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

This class is for intermediate and advanced dancers. Together, we will explore ways to move off balance, spiral through space, and dance in concert with the floor below us and the people around us. Class will begin with a thorough warm-up that will build to some technical exercises, followed by a larger movement phrase. We will also use improvisation as a tool to interrogate our movement habits and expand the resources available to us when approaching choreography.
