Ryan Picone Quartet brings together Tessa Nichols - Meade, Ian Stenlund and Matt Blake. This performance there will be special guest Patrick Harison on Accordion and Jose Betanzos on Guitar.

Led by guitarist and composer Dr. Ryan Anthony Picone, the Ryan Picone Quartet has become a creative force in the Twin Cities’ jazz scene, blending deep tradition with a modern, global sensibility. A devoted acolyte of the celebrated guitarist Stéphane Wrembel, Ryan’s music is rooted in the spirit of Django Reinhardt, yet it ventures to other musical landscapes. The quartets sound reflects a tapestry of Ryan’s various influences — from Rumba Flamenca, Choro, and Cuban music to Indian Classical, Post-Minimalist, and Classical traditions — each woven seamlessly into the fabric of the quartet’s musical identity.
