The spark that ignited Kinder’s musical journey came during a childhood family trip to Destin, Florida, when he awoke to the sound of his mom’s John Mayer CD playing in the car. “As a kid, so many things can catch your interest and they’re fleeting, but this enraptured me,” he recalls. “I thought maybe I could learn a couple songs... and it ended up just taking over my life.”
