Ryan Davis, viola

Radia, the moniker for Ryan Davis, the newly appointed Assistant Professor of Viola at UBC, will present a spirited recital that combines classical influences with the inspiration of folk, electronic, and hip-hop music. The dynamic composer-performer's program will feature several original works that utilize looping technologies in tandem with the music of Bach, Daft Punk, and more!

The concert will open with an informal conversation between LCMS’ Artistic Director Elizabeth Bergmann and the artist, followed by complimentary coffee, tea and refreshments before the performance. The performance will take place in the Rose Gellert Hall and will last approximately 60 min, with no intermission.

Commentary & Coffee – 2:30pm, Concert – 3:15pm
