The RWA invites you to a party of spoken word, music, and artists for you to join and go with the flow.Liming offers exciting possibilities for creativity and wordplay. Curated by Melanie Abrahams and featuring Valda Jackson MBE RWA and special guest DJ Psykhomantus it refashions Trinidad and the Caribbean's ‘limin’ culture, showcasing outstanding British Caribbean artists who elevate ideas and encourage us to unwind and to respond.

Tickets: £15 to inc. a free drink
Doors open from 6pm, performances from 6:45
What to expect:
- Tickets include a free welcome drink and a bar will be open throughout the event, including delicious craft beers from Bristol brewery Wiper and True
- Poetry and spoken word

Wander through our beautiful Grade II* listed building with a drink in hand and enjoy this Summer's Triple bill of exhibitions in our main gallery showcasing the work of Global Majority artists plus work by Bristol's Diverse Artist Network in our lower ground floor spaces.

*Liming is the art of chilling and hanging out. Lime time is well-deserved. Sometimes you just need to set aside work, put yourself in a time out, and just let go. You can lime any time!
