RVA Brewvies - Griffin in Summer

About this Event

RVA Brewvies is a celebration of two beloved industries in Richmond: art and craft beer. The entirety of ticket sales goes to the filmmaking team, and the hosting brewery. On Wednesday, August 5th at 6pm, RVA Brewvies will have its first screening at Starr Hill Beer Hall, for an exclusive showing of Griffin in Summer.

Fourteen-year-old Griffin Nafly is an ambitious playwright of his generation. But once he meets handsome twenty-five-year-old handyman Brad, his life (and play) will never be the same.

Griffin in Summer was was the winner of Best Feature Film at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival...and just so happened to be shot in Richmond!
