Rutherford County Youth Fishing Event Waterbody Name/Location: Percy Priest WMA Unit 1 Pond

This event is located on Percy Priest WMA Unit1 Dog Trail Area. To get to the pond you will go through the gated entrance and stay straight on the gravel road all the way to the back of the area. You will follow the gravel road around to the left and the pond will be directly in front of you. Feel free to park in the grass area around the pond. No fishing poles, tackle, or bait will be provided. Please bring your own. Once the event ends the pond will re-open back to the public.
No registration is required.
Age Limit: 0 - 16 years old
On Bobby Wilson Free Fishing Day June 6th, 2026 all state residents and visitors of any age may fish for free without a license in Tennessee's public waters. Additionally, youth ages 15 or younger may fish for free the entire week, beginning on Free Fishing Day (June 6) and continuing through the following Friday, June 12.
