HEADLINER
JOHN BEUHLER
John began performing stand up comedy at the tender age of nineteen and quickly rose to
the level of one of Canada’s top headline comedians. In his first few years starred in a
television mockumentary, won the Just for Laughs Home Grown Comedy Competition,
finished in the finals of the Seattle International Comedy Competition and shot two
Canadian stand-up specials for Canadian national television - all before the age of 25.
John has performed in the Just for Laughs Festival Gala where he won over the crowd
and was touted as saving the show. The Montreal Gazette said of Beuhler, "When it
seemed that nothing could go right (at the Just for Laughs Gala) John Beuhler, a young,
unheralded, Canuck comic took the stage. He slayed and save the night."

John then went on to win the Corner Gas Comedy contest. Giving him $10 000 and an
appearance on Corner Gas with his mentor Brent Butt.
John has opened for the likes of Dennis Miller, Brent Butt, Joan Rivers, Martin Short,
Zach Galifianakis and Craig Ferguson to name a few. John's style has been described as,
wickedly funny, fearless and poignant.
John's arsenal of sickly smart comedy is enough to leave any crowd begging for more. He
is fast becoming one of North America's favorite and controversial comedians.
John’s first comedy special Inappropriate is being met with rave reviews on Amazon and
iTunes and has surpassed a quarter million views and 5k likes on 800lbs Gorilla Records.
If the TV and movie executives who audit Beuhler don'T make him a star, the world will
have a lot less laughter in it

With his unmistakable charm, Jeff Paul pushes the boundaries of comedy leaving no topics off limit. Jeff’s quick wit and unrestrained attitude often result in raw, embarrassing stories at his own expense. Jeff has opened for Louis CK, Gilbert Gottfried, and K. Trevor Wilson, can be seen on Roast Battle Canada on CTV Comedy, and heard on CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud, was selected for ‘New Faces’ at JFL42 in Toronto and was a cross-country touring Yuk Yuk’s headliner. For 5 years he ran one of Toronto's best weekly shows, Dope N’ Mic Comedy, at the famed Underground Comedy Club. It was the first 420-friendly show in Just For Laughs history to be included as a part of their festival. In 2014 he founded the Icebreakers Comedy Festival in his hometown of Niagara-on-the-Lake and in 2022 The Big Sound Comedy Festival in Parry Sound. His debut album “Delightfully Dark” is available through Comedy Records and on all streaming sites.
