This event is an exclusive sneak peek of Rust's new album, followed by an Electric-Wasla – a modern, electronic twist on the traditional Arabic classical musical forms.
Rust will perform their unreleased album ‘Masar’; a musical interpretation of poetry by the talented Lebanese poet Jana Salloum.
Jana’s poetry explores the path of the Arab woman, delves into her world, raises existential questions, and addresses the battle for identity.
Rust interpreted the poem with rich melodies, intriguing rhythms, and a harmonious blend of electronic and traditional elements.
The album invites the listener to experience the diverse powerful emotions it evokes, and the meaning behind the advocacy it leads.
Petra’s vocals captivate the senses, and the warm tones of Hany’s Oud add depth and authenticity that flow through each track.
