Join us for an important conversation on the economic and social factors driving political polarization, particularly the growing urban/rural divide in America. The panel includes Suzanne Mettler, author of Rural Versus Urban: The Growing Divide That Threatens Democracy; UVA Law Professor Rich Schragger, an expert on federalism, urban policy, and the constitutional and economic status of cities; and Sid Milkis, the White Burkett Miller Professor in the Department of Politics and interim director of the Program on Constitutionalism and Democracy. A book sale and signing will follow the event.
