About this Event
Ruqya is a form of spiritual healing in Islam, derived from the Quran and the Sunnah. It involves the recitation of specific verses from the Quran, along with supplications and prayers, to seek protection, healing, and relief from suffering, including physical ailments, psychological distress, and the effects of evil eye or spiritual possession.
The practice is rooted in the belief that the Quran contains divine guidance and healing properties. Surah Al-Fatiha, Surah Al-Baqarah, and Ayat Al-Kursi are among the most recited verses in Ruqya. The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) emphasised the importance of seeking Allah (SWT) help through prayer and recitation, as illustrated in various Hadiths where he performed Ruqya on his companions and others in need.
This seminar will make you understand that Ruqya is not only a means of healing but also serves as a spiritual safeguard, reinforcing one’s faith and connection to Allah. It encourages believers to rely on divine power for protection against harm. While Ruqya can be performed by oneself, many seek the assistance of qualified practitioners who adhere to Islamic guidelines, ensuring that the practice remains aligned with the teachings of Islam.
