Runnin' with the Knights

The St. Francis of Assisi Knights of Columbus invite our community to race in the first annual Runnin' with the Knights. This fun run has a truly unique distance that supports the participation of runners of all ages and abilities.

Registration is limited to the first 300 participants so buy your entry now!

All paid participants are guaranteed to receive the following items:

• An opportunity to run our unique course distance of 26.2 yards, approximately 78 feet.
• Free 22oz domestic beer upon completion of the race (with proper ID)
• Free hotdog upon completion of the race
• Satisfaction knowing you are helping to raise money for a great cause!

In addition to the above, all paid participants who register on or before September 20th are guaranteed to receive the following items included with their race package:

• Commemorative T-Shirt
• Commemorative 22oz Beer Stein

When purchasing a race entry, please select the size t-shirt you would like to receive. If multiple t-shirts are selected for a single race entry, it will be at the discretion of the event organizers to choose which t-shirt the entrant receives.

The event will take place with in the parking lot of Lone Pine Plaza, home of Paddy B's, located approximately at the intersection of 143rd St & Will-Cook Rd in Orland Park. Parking for the event will be in the immediate parking area along with surrounding public parking. Please do not park in any private residential parking spaces.

October 16th at 11am - 3pm. Registration begins at 10am. Participants and spectators are welcome to continue to celebrate completion of the race after 3pm moving inside Paddy B's.

The event is rain or shine. No rain out date.

The Knights of Columbus have long had a relationship with Special Olympics and the valuable work the organization completes. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Special Olympics Illinois in support of their programming.

*** The St Francis of Assisi Knights of Columbus are committed to the safety of all individuals with the ongoing COVID-19 situation. We will provide sanitation stations around the event. Our intention is to hold this event live and in-person, but we acknowledge there may be a risk to attending any event, indoor or outdoor. We encourage those who are concerned to wear a mask. By purchasing a ticket for the event, the purchaser agrees to withhold any liability against the St Francis of Assisi Knights of Columbus, its officers and members, or Paddy B's and assume all risk of injury, harm and loss associated with this event.
