This event is sponsored by the YMCA of Greater Rochester & UR Medicine.Join us as we kick off the 2026 race season with the 28th anniversary of the Runnin' of The Green and the first race of GRTC's Runner of the Year Series!
Entrants receive:
*Runnin' of The Green race medal (Limited to the first 2000 registrants)
Long Sleeve Shirt, while supplies last. Sign up by 2/25 to guarantee shirt size.
Themed post-race snacks & beverages (green donuts, apples, beer, and cider to name a few)
Free Post Race Party at The Mercantile (live music, games from vendors, and fun!)
Complementary bag drop for a better post-race party
Additional food and beverages are available for purchase from the great options in the mercantile

Cash prizes awarded to top USATF Niagara Finishers (As a part of the 2023 USATF Niagara 5 Mile Open/Masters Association Championships. )
