The GRC Engineering Club is hosting a free 5K during GRC Conference 2026 in San Diego. Run it, jog it, walk it. All paces welcome, and you do not need a conference badge to join us.

The details

• 
  
• When: Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Meet at 5:45 AM, we start moving at 6:00 AM sharp. You will be back before the first session.
  
• Where: Main entrance of the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center, 1000 H St, Chula Vista, CA.
  
• Route: Flat out-and-back along the Bayshore Bikeway on the San Diego Bay. Paved path, water views, no hills worth complaining about.
  
• Cost: Free. Register so we know how much water and snacks to bring.

• Water and electrolytes at the start and finish
  
• Bananas, granola bars, and post-run snacks
  
• Good company from the GRC Engineering Club community

• Running or walking shoes
  
• Your RunGRC shirt if you have one
