Run WILD 5k Fun Run - Yaga's Wild Game Cook-Off

Join the Yagas Childrens Fund Inc. for the 28th Annual Wild Game & BBQ Cook-Off! Kick off the event with the Friday Welcome Social, followed by the Saturday morning 5K fun run, and finish the event with some delicious wild game and free-flowing beverages! Proceeds go to the wonderful beneficiaries of Yaga's Children's Fund.

• This lively event will feature dinner, an open bar, and live entertainment.

Packet Pick Up #2 – Day of the event, 5/11/24, starting at 9:00 am @ the West Lot Circle at Moody Gardens.

9:00 am– Day of Registration/ Day of Packet Pick-Up opens at Moody Gardens

9:45 am- Warm-up activities

10:00 am- 5K Fun Run/ Walk Begins!

11:30 am- Post Run Celebration!

11:00am- Yaga's Children's Fund World Wild Game Championship and Barbecue Cook-off, live music, vendors, kids area, and more!!

Throughout the 27 years of the event, and now entering the 28th, the Yaga’s Children’s Fund has allocated an excess of $1,900,000 for Galveston County children’s charities. The current volunteer board works hard year-round to fund numerous charities with the assistance of generous sponsors and cook teams. The Wild Game Cook-off is now the premiere spring event in Galveston! We hope you sign up and come out to show your support!
