About this Event

Studio X presents the Run It Back Music Review Showcase, a high-stakes, two-round tournament designed to put your music in front of major industry professionals and elevate your career.

On July 8, 2026, we are bringing Domo & Dre from EMPIRE into Studio X to critique your music live. With DJ Tasi in the mix, the energy will be locked in. If you want real, raw feedback and a chance to scale your network, you need to be in the room.

The Breakdown:

• Round 1 (The Listening Session): We are playing 1 track each for up to 15 artists. Industry judges will critique the overall song, the mix, and the lyrics..
• Round 2 (The Live Performance): The judges will select the Top 5 artists from Round 1 to hit the stage and perform that same track live. Round 2 is judged strictly on stage presence and crowd interaction.

What You Can Win: The top-rated artist of the night walks away with:

• Premium Studio Time at Studio X
• Exclusive Production from our camp
• Major bragging rights

Submission & Entry Guidelines:

• Fee: $20 submission fee per artist (one song only per artist).
• Format: MP3 or WAV format only.
• Labeling: Artist Name - Song Name (Song Version).
• Logistics: Our team will be on-site to accept entries and payments. You can email or AirDrop your track to us directly at the event. We are strictly capping this at the first 15 submissions.
• Performance Note: The song you play in Round 1 must be the same song you perform in Round 2. Performance tracks (instrumentals/show mixes) are highly recommended for the live round.
• Presence Rule: You must be present to advance and present to win. If your name is called and you aren't in the room, you automatically forfeit.
