Online registration is now open for the 2021 ABAC Run for the Nurses Half Marathon and 5K! Support the ABAC School of Nursing and Health Sciences and sign up today.The half marathon course is USATF Certified and all half marathon finishers will receive a custom medal. Chip timing will be used for both races with awards immediately following race conclusion.
Sign up before October 1 to enjoy early bird registration rates.
Early packet pick-up will take place on Friday, October 29 from 4-6pm at the same location for Race Day registration, indicated above.
Race Day Schedule:
6:30am – Registration and packet pick-up opens
7:30am – Day-of Registration closes
8:00am – Half Marathon begins
8:15 am – 5K Begins
Approximately 9:30am – 5K Awards
Approximately 10:00am – Half Marathon Awards
Race details:
The race will begin and end on ABAC’s campus. If you are coming via I-75, use exit 64 and follow the signs to ABAC. Please park in the North Parking Lot, which is accessible from Moore Hwy, north of the Front Campus entrances. There will be posted signs to guide you to this lot. Registration will take place on the pedestrian walkway that is at the edge of this parking lot - look for the ABAC Alumni Tent.
The starting line will be well-marked at the Pedestrian Crosswalk in front of the Ag Sciences building. Both the 5K and half marathon courses will circle campus and include portions of Moore Highway. The half marathon will continue to Rainwater Road, Carpenter Road, and Zion Hope Road, with signs and course monitors to guide you. There will be water stations available at regular intervals.
Restrooms will be accessible inside of the Ag Sciences building.
