For my birthday today, I challenge you all to go to my Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K event page and register today as my gift. It is only $17.50 to attend the event and receive a T-Shirt to participate in. I would love to have all my friends and family there to help raise awareness for the people that I take care of for a living. Come walk, run, or just hang out with me for the day. If you don't want to attend the event, just donate and receive a T-shirt so that you can raise awareness. Or you can start a fundraiser of your own or create your own team of your friends or family members. If you have known or know anyone that has had colorectal cancer, GI cancer, ulcerative colitis or Crohn's Disease, intestinal blockages or a perforation of the intestinal tract, or bladder cancer then you might know someone with an ostomy or know that an ostomy may save this person's life one day in the future. This could be you as well. Please share this to as many friends as you can and help me make this event a huge success.
