The Run for Prevention is a chipped and timed 5K Family Run and Walk that is suitable for all ages and abilities. Run will be held at beautiful Babcock Ranch. Bring your family and friends, form a team, and support an extraordinary non-profit. Our course is stroller and pet friendly.
The largest team will win the JOSH TROPHY and bragging rights for the year!
The Run begins at 8:00 a.m.
Packet Pickup is January 24, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Titan Contracting, 2558 Fourth Street, Fort Myers, FL. Packets can also be picked up day of event after 7:00 a.m.
T Shirts for the first 300 registrants. Team members receive a $5.00 discount. T shirts sizes are not guaranteed
This event will be held "rain or shine" with no refunds.
Chipping and Timing Services provided by BEACH BUM TIMING
Awards will follow the end of the Run
Awards to male and female:
First Place Male and Female
Awards to male and female, 3 deep, in the following age groups:
1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71 and Up
All proceeds from Run for Prevention support Drug House Odyssey, our Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Prevention Clubs and drug and alcohol abuse prevention in Lee County. Drug Free Lee is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
