RUMPROLLER ORGAN TRIO FEATURING WOODY MANKOWSKI

The Rumproller Organ Trio is built around the Hammond B3 Organ, a staple of American music from the church to the club, from the living room to the ballpark. Capable of a mellow whisper or a raucous roar, the many voices of the B3 give a soulful, analog feel to any song. The group covers a lot of musical ground: instrumental versions of current pop hits by Taylor Swift, Amy Winehouse, jazz standards, and R&B classics are all treated to Rumproller’s deep swing and soulful, funky grooves. With the addition of Woody Mankowski, the range of the group expands even wider than the Mississippi. His soulful vocals have been compared to Otis Redding, Al Green, Junior Walker, and Bobby Womack. It all comes together transporting audiences back to the nightclubs, juke joints, cocktail parties, and lounges of the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s.
